- 2 pounds ground round
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 quart water
- 2 cans (about 8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 drops hot sauce
Instructions
- Combine raw ground round, onions, and water in a skillet and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Pour into slow cooker and add the tomato sauce, allspice, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, red pepper, cloves, cocoa, vinegar, cinnamon, salt, and hot sauce. Cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours.
