Mint and dark chocolate are a favorite taste combination for me, so these brownies sound just perfect to have with a cup of coffee or a nice glass of milk. Instead of using the crushed candy canes as a garnish, I think I might prefer to use some Andes Mints broken into pieces and sprinkled on top. I love Andes Mints anyway, and they would be a good addition to the top of the brownies as well as having the mint chips in the batter.
