These are great! I had never thought of this way of combining making cookies and cinnamon rolls together as a yummy treat. It's a very simple idea and I'm surprised some cookie dough company hasn't made a commercial version of it. It's a wonderful idea and I plan to make up a batch of these for an upcoming picnic.

cinnamon rolls and cookies were two different delicious food items until now! I know my family will love these and they won't be just a Sunday breakfast item like cinnamon rolls have been. Won't these be great with milk and coffee? I like recipes that use items I already have on hand.

The worst part of making cinnamon rolls is waiting for them to rise before baking. These you don't have to. The dough is like a rolled sugar cookie dough that you fill with cinnamon roll yumminess. I remember making a cookie similar to this before. They were called elephant ears and they didn't have a glaze.
