Maple Oatmeal Cookies

"Maple Oatmeal Cookies are chewy and soft chocolate chip oatmeal cookies flavoured with real maple syrup in the batter. The only trick is chilling the dough if your dough is too wet. If your dough is wet, they will spread and turn out flat. I have made these multiple times and sometimes the dough is perfect for baking right away and other times it needs to chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before baking. This can be dependent on the weather (humidity), climate, time of year, etc."
