Almond Roll Lace Cookies

Here's an option for fancy roll cookies that everyone will love. Quick and easy is the key to success with these almond treats!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup blanched almonds, ground fine
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.

2. Grease and flour well a large cookie sheet (non-stick works well).

3. Combine all ingredients in a large skillet. Heat, stirring, until butter is melted and mixture is blended.

4. Drop mixture by heaping teaspoons onto the cookie sheet, only four to the sheet, and 2 inches apart.

5. Bake 5-6 minutes, or until golden.

6. Remove from oven, and as soon as cookies begin to set, lift, one at a time, with a broad spatula and quickly roll around the handle of a wooden spoon.

7. If cookie gets too hard to roll, reheat in oven a minute to soften.

8. Serve lightly dusted with confectioners' sugar.
