This cookie is my son's favorites. This recipe is just like I remember from when I was a kid. My son loved it! I will be making these again this weekend when he comes home from college. Also, if you ever have problems with these setting up, up the peanut butter to 1 cup, and down the sugar to 1 1/4 cup. They will set up perfectly when done.

This is one of my all time favorite cookies. They are delicious and easy to make. It's wonderful to have a recipe that has memories attached to it. School bake sales, parties, treats when we got home from school and later treats I made for my own boys. I've even omitted the chocolate and added a bit more peanut butter for a non-chocolate husband. When pregnant I substituted carob powder for the chocolate. Still yummy and satisfied the craving.

This is one of my favorite childhood cookie recipes. I used to make these cookies and think I was really "cooking". These cookies are very easy and delicious! They are a great combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and oatmeal. Can't wait to make them again. Thanks for the memory!
