Spiked Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
These are not from any ordinary chocolate chip oatmeal cookie recipe. Though they're not alcoholic once they've been baked, these Spiked Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies are specially spiked with Kahlua for a rich mocha flavor!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
- 8 ounces (1 cup) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a small bowl stir together the flour, oatmeal, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl beat butter and sugars until creamy.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and Kahlua and mix until smooth.
- Then add the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoon 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
- Let stand for 2 minutes before removing the cookies from the sheet.
