I have a big pull-out wooden cutting board in my kitchen that I use multiple times a day. I usually just give it a quick wipe down when I'm done, but it has seen better days. I had no idea how easy it is to revitalize my board! I like that the cleaning ingredients in this tutorial are accessible, affordable, and non-toxic. As wood is porous, I was worried about using chemicals. Using things like salt, lemon, and vinegar are a much better solution to kill any bacteria, make my board smell and look great, and extend its life.
