    This recipe for Lazy Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken takes almost all the work out of making a tasty lemon-flavored chicken dinner. Toss the ingredients together in your slow cooker and after just four hours, you'll have a flavorful meal ready to go! Made with a mixture of frozen lemonade, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar, this lemon chicken recipe has a tasty twist unlike any other citrus-y chicken dish.

    Ingredients

    • 1 chicken, cut up
    • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 3 tablespoons ketchup
    • 6 ounces frozen lemonade
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water
    • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

    Instructions

    1. Dredge the chicken in flour mixed with salt. Shake off excess and brown in a hot skillet. Remove chicken and put in the slow cooker.
       
    2. Mix the lemonade, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar and ketchup and pour over the chicken.
       
    3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours.
       
    4. When ready to serve, remove the chicken to a warm platter.
       
    5. Thicken the sauce with the cornstarch/water solution, and serve along with the chicken.
