Slow Cooker Meatballs Appetizer
"No one wants to be slaving away in the kitchen while the party is in full swing. I love appetizer recipes that I can set and forget. This one has become a staple at all of our family gatherings. I actually had to ask my mom for the recipe….just for you! Now you can make these crockpot meatballs for your next family gathering. These meatballs will be a delicious addition to your party. I know that my entire family loves them. They disappear really fast around here. Remember to account for several meatballs per person. Doubling the recipe is easy and perfect for a larger crowd. Can’t wait for a party to give this one a try? Make a few other appetizer recipes and serve up a fun “appetizer” meal for supper one night. It is a fun twist and something a little out of the ordinary."
Ingredients
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 52 count frozen bite sized meatballs
-
Mix the first four ingredients in your crockpot until the sugar is dissolved. Add in meatballs and stir to coat. TIP: Adding them in frozen is absolutely fine! There is no reason to waste time thawing. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. You want the meatballs to be heated through. Serve right out of the slow cooker or on a platter with a toothpick or small wooden fork in each.
