Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground beef, lean
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 celery ribs, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard seed
- 3 1/2 cups catsup
Instructions
- Brown meat in slow cooker or skillet on top of range on medium heat. Remove excess grease.
- Transfer cooking pot to heating base or transfer meat to slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring well to blend.
- Cover and cook at low setting for 6-8 hours. Serve on buns or over hot dogs for chili dogs.

With the Poor Man's Beef Barbecue recipe, or any of the recipes, they do not say how many servings each make. It sounds good, just seems a huge amount of ground hamburger.
