It is an absolute lifesaver for us when things are busy. I can dump everything in it first thing in the morning and by dinner time, I have a perfectly delicious meal ready for the family. I have 2 slow cookers plus an extra insert. This means that when I’m feeling motivated, I can make 2 or 3 meals and save myself some major stress later in the week. This recipe came about after I picked up a peppered roast on sale at our local butcher’s. It wasn’t gig enough to feed our large family as a roast, so I decided to dice it up and make a stew."
