Creamy Chocolate Cupcakes

Creamy, dreamy, chocolate heaven! This is the best chocolate cupcake recipe around. Bake up a batch of these sinful cupcakes and let them melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 3/4 to 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Combine and sift dry ingredients.
     
  3. Add oil, water, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
     
  4. Fill cupcake papers 2/3 full.
     
  5. Beat cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Fold in chips.
     
  6. Drop 1 heaping teaspoon of filling into each cupcake.
     
  7. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees F (180 C).
     
  8. Frost when cool, if desired.
