Who would ever think that tortilla shells would make a great dessert? I have a friend that used to fry them and sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar. She swore that they were the best thing in the world to dip into caramel sauce, but I think she was wrong. I think these apple pie rolls are the best thing to dip.

I never thought of using tortillas for a dessert! I have only used tortillas for quesadillas and tacos. This apple pie recipe makes eight roll ups. It may seem like a lot, but they can also be eaten cold, so put any left overs into the fridge for a snack later.
