Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs or 1 slice, trimmed and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • pinch cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

Instructions

Soak bread in milk for 20 minutes. Butter a small casserole and add bread and milk. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake for 40 minutes at 350F, or until firm on top. Serves one.
