I can't believe it. I have been looking for this recipe for some time now. I am so happy you posted it. My mom used to make a similar version when I was a kid. I want to make it for her and surprise her. Do you have favorites that you like to make for your parents now that you are grown?

This is good lemon bread. If you have a sweet tooth, go for the glaze. I didn't want a glaze so I did not add it and it was great on its own. If you live in a place where it is hard to find good lemons, use about 1/3 cup bottled lemon juice and you can buy dried lemon zest.
