"Balkan No Bake Wafer Cake: layered tort wafers connected with a smooth filling made out of chocolate, butter and walnut melted in hot milk. Imagine chocolate wafer cookies. Imagine them bigger. Now imagine a cake. That’s what we’re making this morning! Although wafer cookies are omnipresent, I haven’t seen much in terms of the Balkan (no bake) wafer cake in North America. This cake, or rather cookies you get by cutting the cake, are called oblatne. (This dessert is also popular in Eastern Europe, and Russia too.)"
