This would not last long in my house! And I love the idea of using a little bit of bleu cheese on the top. I might try this recipe with some humboldt fog, to give it a little smokiness.

I love the idea topping this dip with bleu cheese, although this isn't really mentioned in the actual recipe. Using the slow cooker to make this dip would be excellent for serving at a summer party, when you don't want to heat up the house running the oven. This would be great to serve with some blanched cauliflower.
