I make limade sometimes when lemons are scarce. It's like lemonade except that only limes are used. I've never tried mixing lime juice and lemon juice together in one drink though. It sounds like a great idea! Indeed limes are more sour because I use more lemon juice for a glass of lemonade than lime juice for a glass of limade.

This looks so good. I love my lemonade abit sour so i add some limes too and blend the ingredients with the mint leaves.Add some crushed ice to make it look like a slushy.

This sounds very refreshing. We were given a bag of lemons from a friend that grows them. We need to use them up soon before they go bad. This is a great idea. They are almost sweet enough without using too much sugar. I will give it a try this evening.

This is an easy lemonade recipe. We have a big lemon tree outside with an abundance of lemons. I like to use them up as much as I can and always make lemonade. It has never been this easy though. I am definitely going to make it. It's a nice refreshing drink on a hot summer's day.

It's the boiling water that dissolves the sugar that makes this homemade lemonade so good. It's not grainy. No undissolved crystals falling to the bottom of the glass. And since I wanted to showcase this fantastic fresh squeezed lemonade, I served it up in a fancy drink glass, but there's no alcohol in it . You could, though, add some if it suits your tastes and occasion.
