"Pickle Mai Tai cocktail is a modern seasonal pickle twist on Trader Vic's 1944 Mai Tai cocktail recipe: a quintessential tiki drink. The Mai Tai is a punch style drink related to the punch formula in which sweet, sour, strong, weak and spice elements are harmoniously combined. The modern twist offered by the pickle Mai Tai cocktail features a pineapple fennel shrub syrup drinking vinegar with star anise and matcha tea, pistachio rose water orgeat syrup and coconut palm arrack, with optional Jamaican rum. The cocktail is garnished with pineapple leaves, pineapple wedges, lemon balm or mint, and pickled cherries and a dusting of cinnamon."
