Spiced Tangerine Tea
Ingredients
- 3 tea bags (not flavored)
- 1 cinnamon stick, broken into several. pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsely cracked pepper
- 6 whole cloves
- 4 cups boiling water
- 3/4 cup frozen tangerine juice concentrate, thawed
- 1/4 cup water
- sugar
- ice cubes, orange slices, fresh mint sprigs
Instructions
Place first 4 ingredients in med. bowl. Pour boiling water over. Let steep till completely cool, about 1 hr. Strain steeped tea into serving pitcher. Mix tangerine (or orange juice) concentrate and 1/4 cup water. Add sugar to taste. Refrigerate till thoroughly chilled. Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour tea over. Garnish each with orange slice and mint sprig.
