Garlicky Spicy Baked Crabs

Ingredients
- 12 whole crab, cleaned
- 2 cups unsalted butter
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 head garlic
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp chili flakes
- 1 cup tomato ketchup
Instructions

Par-boil the crabs for 5 minutes and place in an ice bath to avoid overcooking.

Preheat oven to 400° Fahrenheit.

In a heated sauté pan, melt butter with oil.

Sauté minced garlic, diced onion, red bell pepper, and parsley.

Stir constantly to prevent the garlic from scorching.

Add Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, black pepper, chili flakes, and tomato ketchup.

Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Place the crabs in a large baking tray.

Pour in the sauce and bake the crabs for 25 minutes.
