Charles Viancin Silicone Lid Review

Charles Viancin is known for their playful, silicone lids that can create a seal on any bowl or container. The red poppy lid is one of their most popular items. The silicone grips onto any bowl and creates a tight seal for storing leftovers and keeping food hot.



I was impressed with how tight of a seal this silicone lid created. You can actually pick up a bowl by the handle of the lid when sealed properly. Not only can you use the lid to keep food fresher for longer, you can also use it while cookin and serving food. I like keeping the lid on a bowl of pasta or mashed potatoes to keep the food warm if guests would like another helping.



The design of the Poppy lid, in addition to being functional, is truly a work of art. It resembles a bright red poppy with petals outlined on the top of the lid. The black, raised handle serves as the center of the flower. It looks far nicer than any other lid of its kind which is important when using it to keep food warm for guests.
