K9 Cakery Cake Kit for Dogs Review
"I absolutely loved making cupcakes for my dog! I’ve never really put a ton of effort into my dog’s meals; I pretty much just buy whatever’s sold at the store. I’m sure my dog was ready for a change though just as much as I was. The cupcakes were really easy to make, and I didn’t even need to take a separate shopping trip to get all of the ingredients. I think my dog sensed that whatever I was making was going to be for him – he wouldn’t stop following me around the kitchen! In fact, I even let him lick the spatula before I cleaned up, which already made his night. When I was getting ready to hand him his finished treat, I could tell he was really excited because he wouldn’t stop running around in circles and giving me the sad, puppy-dog eyes. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen him eat a treat so quickly; he must have thought I accidentally gave him people food! I’m actually tempted to try one myself.
These cupcakes would be a fantastic treat to give your dog around the holidays – why should your pet miss out on special holiday foods? DogCakeWorld.com offers a few recipes if you want to add a little variety to the basic package. I tried the pumpkin one with my dog and even dyed the frosting orange to give it a fall twist. How fun is that? I’m definitely looking forward to baking up some new flavors in the future!"
"The K9 Cakery Cake Kit For Dogs was so simple to make. Just like the regular box cakes I make for the special people in my life, these cake mixes work exactly the same way. You just add egg, water, and oil to create the batter, then bake just like regular cupcakes. The frosting packet creates some light topping for your cupcakes. My dogs performed their best tricks to get some of these cupcakes. I also love that the K9 Cakery offers gluten free options since one of my dogs has food allergies. If my own dogs were writing this review, they would give the Cake Kit For Dogs four paws."
"The dog cake mix was really easy to make. I've tried a lot of DIY homemade dog treats before and they always wind up making my house smell crazy for days. These definitely did not and I really appreciated that. Luke, a Jack Russell Terrier, preferred the actual cupcake over its frosting, but he's a picky eater."
