Both of these pieces are made with high-quality pewter. The pieces are stamped with a "95" imprint. This refers to the combination of lead free tin, copper, and antimony. 95% of the alloy is tin, making it a high-quality pewter. The designs are all based off classic European models from the 14th through 19th centuries so they have an antique quality, yet they are brand new. They even use antique molds for some of their items. I love the incorporation of history into each piece!



The Luisa Rectangular Platter is truly one of the most gorgeous servers I have ever used. It has a raised pewter rim, with a rope design lining the platter. The white base of the platter complements the metal pewter and keeps it from being extremely heavy. The 16.5" X 12.2" size is perfect for party bites.



I especially love the serving tool. It has a floral etching in the center, along with a half-moon border that is incredibly chic. The curvature of the handle allows for an easy grip when serving food off the platter. It is ideal for serving appetizers, desserts, and casserole dishes.
