The Salton Frozen Dessert Maker and Vegetable Slicer is a versatile appliance that will cut down on prep time, and help make delicious desserts. The unique machine has two separate functions: one for making frozen fruit treats and one for slicing, dicing, and grating ingredients. Each component is simple to use and delivers the perfect result. 

The Frozen Dessert Maker is shockingly simple to use. All you need is your favorite frozen fruit. The instruction booklet includes 14 frozen recipes to get you started. The creamy, ice cream-like recipes are made with a banana base which is surprisingly similar to regular ice cream. If you don't have bananas on hand, you can still make a fruit sorbet!

Since you don't use any dairy to make these frozen treats, they are much healthier than regular ice cream. Some of the recipes are just fruit, but taste like a delightful treat. This healthy alternative to ice cream will bring a smile to any child's face, and they can even help you make it! 

The Vegetable Slicer is just as easy to operate as the Dessert Maker. It comes with five blades: two slicers and 3 graters. It is fascinating to watch the device in use as it efficiently preps all your vegetables.

The instruction booklet also includes recipes for the Vegetable Slicer. The recipes show how incredible this machine can be. One of my favorites they include is a recipe for Gazpacho that can be made in just a couple minutes. 

I like using the slicer when I have a lot of vegetables to prep for a recipe. It is especially helpful when make stir-fry recipes since the prep can take longer than the cooking time. I also love using the thin slicer for cucumber salad since it can make perfectly thin and uniform slices every time. In addition to vegetables, you can use the versatile machine to grate cheese, shave ice, or chop nuts. 

This is one of the most unique appliances I have ever owned and is essentially two completely different appliances in one. The frozen treat maker is similar to others on the market, except that this one does so much more. The device comes with all the attachments you need and a thorough explanation of all the components.
