Serve your favorite cheeses and meats on the Slateplate Cheese Server. This gorgeous cheese board is made of slate so you can write directly on the board with chalk to identify the cheeses you are serving. The server is 8"x16" which is the perfect size for a cheese plate at a dinner party. 

The beautiful, slate board is made with North American Black Slate. This slate has a darker, more uniform and sleek quality than other varieties of slate. I like that the slate is extremely smooth and doesn't have any ridges that would make serving more difficult. 

I really like that the cheese board has clear, non-slip acrylic feet on each corner. This keeps the board level and not wobbling on a table. Another great feature of the board is that it is dishwasher safe. The board's durability makes it a great server to have on hand.

It is fun and informative to use the chalk on the board. I like using it to label the cheese and meat that I put out. This way all your guests know exactly what they are eating and don't have to keep asking.
