Anisrollen (anise Rolls)
Ingredients
- 100 grams Butter
- 125 grams Zucker
- 250 grams Mehl
- 2 Eier
- 1 Teelo"ffel Anis
- 200 milliliters Weisswein
- 7 Tbsp butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp anise
- 3/4 cup white wine
Instructions
Die schwach zerlassene Butter mit den u"brigen Zutaten zu einem dickflu"ssigen Teig verru"hren. Lo"ffelweise davon in die Mitte der Platten geben. Nach dem Backen sofort rollen. Mix the softened butter with the other ingredients to form a thick liquid dough. Place dough in center of iron with a spoon. Roll quickly after baking.

What is this? It says a roll, but it sounds like a waffle, then rolled out. Is it a crepe? What do you do with it? Fill it with something then roll it up?
