Caramelized Apple German Pancake
A German pancake is not a typical pancake. This exceptional breakfast food is more extravagant; it's almost like an apple pie! Caramelized Apple German Pancake is an indulgent weekend breakfast that can be made in an hour. It's baked in a skillet and best served warm. The smell of caramelized apples and cinnamon sugar will tantalize the senses. It's so good it can be eaten by itself, but you can always make bacon and hash browns to go along with it.

This apple pancake is so, so good! I often make it for my grandkids when they come over and if I have overnight guests. The important thing to remember is that this is like a souffl. That means, everyone needs to be at the table when this is taken from the oven! It falls quite quickly and it's so pretty to look at, so serve it immediately. You'll be glad you did!
