Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 cups cake flour, sifted three times
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream butter until well blended. Sift sugars to together and cream into butter.

Add unbeaten yolks, one at a time. Mix in vanilla extract.

Sift flour with baking powder and salt 3 times. Add flour and milk alternately to batter.

Fold in stiffly beaten whites.

Place in buttered bundt pan and bake for 1 1/4 hours or until tested done.
- Cool in pan 15 minutes and remove carefully to rack to finish cooling.
