Greek Baked Chicken
Making over a basic oven-baked chicken recipe can be easy. At least, it is in the case of this Greek Baked Chicken. Chicken quarters, which are the base of this dish, are inexpensive and offer a lot of protein. Greek yogurt, Kalamata olives, and Feta cheese turn this dish into a wonderfully Greek meal. You won't spend a lot of time prepping this meal, but it does need to bake for over two hours, so make sure you start it early.

This makes plenty for leftovers or serve when having company. Feta cheese goes great with chicken. I don't see it used much. I love feta cheese. Sometimes I have a really hard time finding plain yogurt. Usually it is flavored even if it is just vanilla. If you can't find plain, go with sour cream. That is a pretty good substitute.

Wow! Greek yogurt, kalamata olives, and Feta cheese and two hours in the oven. What a combination! Sounds so delish. Sounds very Greek to me! (Pun intended). The ingredients will provide the flavor and the two hours baking time will make the chicken tender. The black pepper sprinkled on the surface of the skin makes the chicken so tempting, too. Can't wait to make this Greek Baked Chicken for a change.

Slow cooking is what makes this chicken tender. The Greek yogurt makes it moist with a crispy skin. The salt and pepper seasoning is all it needs. This is really pretty good!
