I would recommend bringing the filling to work separately and reheating it before adding to the avocado for a few reasons. First, you can always cut the avocado at work to prevent browning. Or, if you wanted/needed to cut it ahead of time, then you could still keep the half of avocado covered before filling it to also prevent browning! Second, hot avocado tastes a lot different than cold avocado (personally I don't like warm avocado) so keep that in mind, as well!

The recipe says you can microwave the ingredients and then add them to the avocado. Do you then microwave the filled avocado? I'm looking for a lunch I can take to a church work day and then heat up in the microwave. Would this recipe work? I love sweet potatoes and avocados, so I hope the answer is YES!
