Calcutta Sausages
Ingredients
- 500g beef sausages
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tsps butter
- 1 Tbs curry powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbs sultanas
- 2 Tbs flour
- 1 1/2 cup water with 2 beef
- pepper and salt
- stock cubes dissolved
Instructions
Microwave sausages on a large flat plate, covered with paper toweling on HIGH 6 minutes, turning over halfway. In a casserole dish, melt butter 30 seconds, and add apple, onion and curry powder. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes, and stir in sugar, lemon juice, water and stock cubes and blend in flour. Microwave, stirring frequently, for 3 1/2 minutes on HIGH and add sultanas and cooked sausages. Microwave on MEDIUM, covered, for 10 minutes. Allow to stand 2 minutes before serving.
