    Peppino's Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    • 5 tablespoons butter
    • 2 large garlic cloves crushed
    • 1 tablespoon capers
    • 3 fresh tomatoes chopped
    • 1/2 cup fresh parsley chopped
    • 1/4 cup fresh mint chopped
    • 1/2 pound calamari, cleaned and chopped fine
    • 1 pound bay scallops chopped
    • 1 pound green mussels, steamed and chopped
    • 1/2 pound chopped clams

    Instructions

    Saute garlic in olive oil and butter. Add chopped tomatoes and parsley, capers and mint. Simmer 10 minutes. Add seafood and simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Add plenty of parsley and hot pepper flakes. Serve over Spaghetti squash or Cappalli.
