- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
- 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, caramelized

In a deep pot over medium-high heat, add milk, pasta and salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer, cook uncovered until pasta is al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

Macaroni and cheese is such a huge hit in my home on any day or occasion and adding caramelized onion and bacon to it, is sure to be a nice combination plus a nice change from the norm...then, with a little panko and a few extra minutes under a broiler it'll be the perfect way to top it off.
