Super Easy Macaroni and Cheese
Homemade macaroni and cheese recipes can be daunting. However, the name Super Easy Macaroni and Cheese says it all. Follow these easy steps for a delicious meal.

Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 slices stale bread, cubed
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350 degrees F.
- Cook macaroni per package directions. Drain.
- In a medium saucepan, cook butter, flour, salt, pepper, and gradually stir in milk.
- Cook over low heat, stirring until sauce thickens.
- Add grated cheese and stir until melted.
- In a casserole dish, mix macaroni and the sauce together. Top with bread cubes and pour melted butter over top.
- Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes. Let stand about 5 minutes before cutting into it.
