    Andagi (sweet Okinawan Doughnut)

    Ingredients

    • oil for deep frying
    • 3 cups flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 4 1/2 tsps baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
    • 1 cup milk

    Instructions

    Yield: 1/2 to 3 dozen doughnuts. Heat oil to 375 F. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine eggs and milk; add to dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls into heated oil. Cook about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
