Bisquick Apple Pandowdy
Apple dessert recipes are great for the fall season. Bisquick Apple Pandowdy is a quick version of an old fashioned recipe. Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Bisquick
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 5 cups pared, sliced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup Bisquick
- 1/3 cup milk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 8” square casserole dish.

Combine first five ingredients in medium saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until thick and clear.

Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Set aside.

Place apples in bottom of casserole dish , sprinkle with spices and sugar.

Mix Bisquick and milk and spoon over apples. Sprinkle with additional spices and sugar, if you desire.
- Pour sauce over all. Bake for about 35 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

your recipe says to mix the Bisquick and milk - but your ingredient list does not indicate how much milk. Please check recipe and correct.

Recipe says mix first 5 ingredients. Bisquick is in the first five. Later in the recipe it says to mix Bisquick and milk. Milk is not listed.
