Fluffy Crisp Waffles

"Have you ever made your own waffles at home? My mum used to always make waffles from scratch. In our French home, these waffles were a dessert treat which we would indulge in, in the afternoons. This is my mum’s crispy and fluffy waffles recipe which is the way it’s done in northern France near the Belgium border. The waffles are really great with chocolate syrup and whipped cream but you can enjoy them too with ice cream or maple syrup if you prefer! The waffles are prepared in a special way so that they get ultra fluffy on the inside while getting a nice crisp on the outer honeycomb shape. You can't go wrong with this recipe."
