Chess Pie
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp cream
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- dash nutmeg
Instructions
Cream sugar and butter. Add milk, eggs, vanilla and a dash of nutmeg. Pour into pie shell. Bake (350 degree F.) for 45 min or until brown. Custard test. Should be candy on top, custard beneath like a pecanless pecan pie.
