Chocolate Chip Cookie Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 1 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
- 1 (9-ounce) package chocolate chips
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Melt butter or margarine in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in sugar, flour, and eggs and continue to stir until sugar is melted. Remove from heat.
- Stir in pecans and pour over chips in pastry shell.
- Bake until golden brown, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Pie will feel springy when done. Watch for burning of crust and hard surface that develops while baking.
