Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 T. sugar (for non-sweet filling, generous 1/2 T.)
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 T. milk

Instructions

Mix in pie plate and press out. This makes a generous 9" crust.

this is a delicious crust made with whole wheat flour and canola oil, it is healthier than crusts made with butter or shortening!

HOW DO YOU KEEP A PIE SHELL FROM SHRINKING WHILE BAKING

with oil and milk it does not sound very appitizing. sorry!!!

I have been using this recipe for several years. My little granddaughter loves to make pie crust with this recipe.
