Cola Basted Ham
This homemade cola recipe for basted ham is amazing. The sweetness of the cola goes perfectly with the ham. This will be a new family favorite. Try it out if you're willing to be adventurous with your cooking!

Ingredients
- 1 ham
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 cup dry fine bread crumbs
- 12 ounces Coca Cola
- Cloves
Instructions
- Cook ham accordingly until it reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
- When cool enough to handle, pull off skin. Mix brown sugar, mustard and bread crumbs. Coat top of ham.
- Score and stud with cloves. Pour Coca-Cola around ham; cover and bake at 400 degrees F for approximately 35 minutes.
- Baste with liquid every 15 minutes. Let ham set for 30 minutes before carving or cover with waxed paper and cool.
- Cold ham slices better than hot. 15 pound ham can serve 30 people.
