Hungarian Pork Paprika Stew
Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 Tbsp lard
- 2 pounds pork butt 1" cubes
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp caraway seeds slightly crushed
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 14 ounces can tomatoes
Instructions
Sertes Porkolt. Saute onions and set them aside. Brown the meat and deglaze the pan with water or stock. Add all ingredients and add enough stock or water to cover meat. Simmer 1 or 2 hours or until the meat is tender. Serve over dumplings.
