Can You Freeze Ham Salad?
If you are looking to make a yummy ham salad in advance, you can absolutely freeze the dish. You'll want to freeze ham salad shortly after making it though to preserve freshness. The longer you let it sit in the fridge, the less freeze-able it becomes. If your ham salad has been in the fridge for 3 days or more, we do not reccomend you freeze it. When freezing ham salad, be sure to add several layers of freezer bags to keep it fresh.
Ham salad can be frozen for up to 2 months if stored properly.

Wow. I didn't imagine osterized ham, mustar, and mayo!! I will definitely make this at home just to find out for myself how this recipe tastes as a dip. I am intrigued. I can't wait to make this.

Wow! I have not had ham salad in years. My mother used to make it all the time. I can't wait to make it now. I like the addition of the pickle relish. It will add a nice touch. Now I have to make the ham. Thank you!

What a great retro salad and a really good way to use ham even if you only have a little left. A much loved elderly aunt used to make something similar when I was a child so eating it again brought back a ton of memories. It is really quick and easy to put together and with a salad of fresh crunchy greens made a lovely light lunch.

I love ham salad. I have loved it since I was little. I never knew that you could easily make it at home! I have always bought it from the store. When I found this recipe, I had to try this. I loved this even more than the store bought ham salad! I thought it was interesting that this used both Miracle Whip and Mayo. I did use dijon mustard instead of the stone ground mustard. I also divided it and used dill pickle relish in some and sweet in the rest. I actually liked them both, and will probably do the same next I make this, which will be soon!

I always have left over ham. I only cook it at Christmas and have the ham left over then so it is a bit late to do this now but I am going to keep this recipe on hand for next time. I may make a ham for some special occasion or even create an occasion to cook it and invite the family over. Christmas in June! To me Christmas is synonymous with hams. I do love it though and would love to make this ham salad to eat with crackers.

I used to get an old fashioned salad like this one at my neighborhood deli years ago. We moved away, I never really saw it anymore. Whenever it was on sale for a good price I would buy a pound of it and make sandwiches with it, since they called it sandwich spread. This would be a great spread to put out on a brunch buffet or bring to a potluck.
