    Pickled Garlic

    Ingredients

    • 8-10 whole garlics
    • 1 dl water
    • 2 dl vinegar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 Tsp sugar
    • 10 black peppercorns
    • 1 Tsp mustard seeds
    • 2 bay leafs
    • 1/2 dl oil
    • 1 Tsp dried herbs (oregano for instance)

    Instructions

    Boil the garlic cloves in water for about 5 minutes, this will make it easy to peel them. Put the peeled cloves in an airtight glass-container. Mix the marinade ingredients in a saucepan and boil for a couple off minutes. Pour the hot marinade over the garlic and close the lid. Let stand in a cool place for 1-2 weeks.
