Lumberjack Stew

Ingredients
- 4-5lb boneless beef or pork roast, cut in 1" cubes
- 2 tsps salt
- 2 tsps sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 large onions, slivered
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed
- 3 TBS lemon juice
- 1 TBS worecestershire sauce
- 6 bay leaves
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes
- 9 C. water
- 18 med carrots, pared and cut in 1" chunks (about 4 Cups)
- 6 cans green beans, drained -or- 36 oz frozen
- 1/3 Cup cornstarch mixed with 1 Cup water
Instructions
Season pork with salt, sugar, paprika and pepper. Brown in pressure cooker. Add onion and garlic, saute 5 minutes. Add next 5 ingredients. Place lid on and bring up to 15 lbs of pressure. Cook 15 minutes at 15 lbs. Quick cool by running tap water over the lid. Open and add carrots & green beans Bring up to 15 lbs pressure and cook 13 more minutes. Let cool of it's own accord. Take lid off, bring stew to boil, add cornstarch & water mixture to thicken.
