Ingredients
- Bread Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon rind, grated
- 1 to 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- Glaze Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, lemon juice and rind.
- Combine dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
- Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.
- Mix glaxze ingredients. Remove from pan and drizzle with glaze immediately.
