I have made this recipe often but I have added a can of chopped green chilis and a handful of cheddar cheese. Everyone seems to love them

I just made this in my 8 x 8" square pan and baked at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes. The two packages say different temperatures 350 and 400. I picked 400. My cornbread felt soft at the center at 20 minutes so I returned it for 10 more minutes, 30 minutes total, at 400 degrees. It is baked through perfectly. I was afraid it was a little too brown on top, but its fine. A nice slightly sweet corn bread.

Hi golady11, You would use the pan size specified on the box of Jiffy mix and the number of servings would be specified on the box as well. Thanks! -Editors of RecipeLion

This sounds so easy but I have nver tried using the cake mix, too. Sounds interesting. I'll bet it is as tasty as the regular recipe.
