Ingredients: 1 8 oz. pkg soft cream cheese; 1/4 c. sour cream; 2 Tab. horseradish; 12 rye bread slices or 6 sub buns; Lettuce; Roast beef slices; 6 red onion slices

Bavarian Beef Sandwich

Ingredients

1 8 oz. pkg soft cream cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
2 Tab. horseradish
12 rye bread slices or 6 sub buns
Lettuce
Roast beef slices
6 red onion slices

Instructions

Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and horseradish, mixing until well blended. For each sandwich, spread bread with the the cream cheese mixture, add the meat, lettuce and onions. Add additional cream cheese spread if desired and I always desire! Serves 6.

I love the combination of roast beef and horseradish and this recipe sounds great. I like the horseradish sauce described in the recipe, but I think I'd include some chopped green onion or chives in the mix. I'm still debating whether or not a slice of cheddar cheese would be a good addition as well to this. I wish I could find some good dark rye buns since they would be ideal for this. Any good suggestions or recipes?
